About Dr. Kathy
My journey to being a veterinarian who truly cares about my patients and their people has been fulfilling.
When I was 5 years old, my pet, my friend, my dog Molly was hit by a car. She was severely injured and my dad and I rushed her to the vet.
By the time we got there, Molly was nearly gone and my dad and I had to say goodbye. I vowed at that point to be a veterinarian, to care for all pets, to keep them happy and healthy.
I attended the University of Maryland for my undergraduate degree and the University of Tennessee School of Veterinary Medicine earning a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
I practiced in the Baltimore area for 7 years before opening my own veterinary hospital in North East, MD in 1997. For 19 years, I provided compassionate patient care, kind client relations, and the highest standard of veterinary medical and surgical services.
In 2016, I moved to Florida. I opened this practice in August 2017 with the intent to provide the same world class care to my clients and patients here.
My childhood promise is extended to all my clients and patients. I will keep you informed of what is needed to keep your pet healthy. Together we can ensure your pet is as healthy as possible, making us all happy.
