Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hospital operations to ensure smooth, efficient workflow
- Lead, coach, and support staff to maintain a positive and productive team culture
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and administrative processes
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, and key metrics to support practice growth
- Partner with the medical director and ownership team to align on goals and strategy
- Handle client concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Ensure compliance with safety, HR, and regulatory standards
- Promote communication, accountability, and continuous improvement across all departments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in veterinary practice management or a related leadership role
- Strong people-management and communication skills
- Proficiency with Covetrus Pulse and general computer skills
- Solid understanding of HR principles, budgeting, and client service best practices
- Compassionate leadership style with a focus on team development
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range:$55, 000 – $60,000, depending on experience

Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can work directly with animals and support a veterinary team? We’re seeking two reliable, motivated individuals to join our practice as Veterinary Assistants. No prior experience is required — we’ll provide the training you need to be successful.
What You’ll Do:
- Support and assist our Veterinarian during exams and treatments
- Safely hold and handle pets following proper safety protocols
- Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and labs clean and organized
- Use a laptop for note-taking during exams (easy, pre-filled forms in Pulse software)
- Pitch in wherever needed to keep the practice running smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
- A dependable team player with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working around animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Organized and able to multitask in a busy environment
- Basic computer/laptop familiarity
- No previous veterinary experience required — just a willingness to learn!

Compensation & Benefits
We are searching for a great candidate and offer competitive pay accordingly, the starting hourly range for this position is $15/hour and is dependent upon experience.
