This was our first time taking her so it was a little stressful. After a few days in Largo , Jaya started scratching her ears raw. After a quick search I was able to find that Dr. Kathy was only 10 minutes away so I gave her a call. Luckily we were able to get in right away. Dr. Kathy was very professional and made our nervous little cat feel very comfortable. After a quick look in her ears we were relieved to hear it was only a reaction to bug bites . Dr. Kathy got us some cream with itch relief and showed us how to apply it. With in a couple days Jaya's ears were healed and the fur growing back. Thanks to Dr. Kathy and her staff we are much more comfortable bringing Jaya with us to Florida. I first brought my rescue cat to her two years ago when she wasn’t feeling well, and Dr. Kathy was incredibly kind and thorough. She did a full assessment and treated her for a bladder infection, taking the time to make sure she was truly cared for. Recently, my cat Gracie became very lethargic. I called at the last minute, and Dr. Kathy was kind enough to squeeze us in so I wouldn’t have to pay emergency room fees. She even stayed after hours to help. It turned out Gracie had an ear infection that had made her lethargic and dehydrated, and Dr. Kathy took such compassionate care of her. She never rushes my cat and is able to get my cat to purr and relax before her examination. She is fair and honest when diagnosing your pet. Previously we had gone to another office and was quoted over $2,000 dollars for blood work & dental cleaning… , I left that practice quickly. We learned the prior Vet had been recently purchased by corporate Vet care. I brought my cat to Dr. Kathy and she gave my cat required immunizations. I asked her about my cat’s teeth and she stated no gingivitis a little tarter on one tooth. She prescribed adding in cat toothpaste and dental treats. My recent visit was less than $100.00.
